College Excellence Awards 2009
At our 2009 Excellence Awards Ceremony, more than 50 awards were presented to our outstanding learners, staff and employer partners. The winners, their friends and family and an invited audience were treated to musical performances by College learners, and a speech by our VIP guest, David Lammy MP.
Apprentice of the Year Excellence Award
(Healthcare and Early Years)
Chelsie Miller successfully completed her Childcare Certificate in July 2009 after joining the College as part of her apprentice scheme with the Triangle Children’s, Young People and Community Centre. Her teacher Beverly Johnson says ‘Chelsie has worked so hard to achieve her qualification – her commitment was exemplary and her enthusiasm in class made her a pleasure to teach’.
