College Excellence Awards 2009
At our 2009 Excellence Awards Ceremony, more than 50 awards were presented to our outstanding learners, staff and employer partners. The winners, their friends and family and an invited audience were treated to musical performances by College learners, and a speech by our VIP guest, David Lammy MP.
Brickwork Excellence Award
Ricky McLean first came to College at the age of 14, and has progressed onto a brickwork apprenticeship, spending one day per week in College and four days at work. Ricky’s tutor, Mark Furneaux, says ‘Ricky’s attitude, attendance and ability are fantastic; he’ll be a first class bricklayer for many years to come’.
