College Excellence Awards 2009
At our 2009 Excellence Awards Ceremony, more than 50 awards were presented to our outstanding learners, staff and employer partners. The winners, their friends and family and an invited audience were treated to musical performances by College learners, and a speech by our VIP guest, David Lammy MP.
Housing Excellence Award
Anthea James has completed her Level 2 and Level 3 Certificates whilst juggling family life and volunteering as a housing support assistant for a Sheltered Accommodation Scheme. Anthea has now progressed onto her Foundation Degree in Housing and her tutor Martin Stone says ‘she can only be described as a model student – her achievement, progression and attendance have all been excellent’.
